During late Spring and Summer, we offer couples something slightly different! - The opportunity to stay in ‘Benny’ our Campervan (Motorhome), which is parked in a dedicated area of our garden at Clouds. You can NOT take it out on the open road, but it’s a great, unique area to relax in the evening with wide ranging sea views.
Located in a dedicated area of our garden*, our comfortable ‘Benny’ is perfect for couples on a smaller budget or for those who wish to try a different kind of accommodation. It has a lovely seating/dining area, tea/coffee making facilities, a fridge, microwave, WI-FI, TV with selection of DVD’s, toilet, and at sleep time, there is a cosy double bed. Our Simple-Start Breakfast is included in the price for all guests, and all this will be prepared for you each day. There is also a private shower available in the main house for your exclusive use, and a dedicated outside area close to ‘Benny’ in which you can cook your own food if you wish.
Our garden offers wide ranging views across The Minch to The Western Isles. We provide a private garden area close to Benny with seating to help you relax and enjoy the most amazing uninterrupted sea views and all the nature here in Kilmuir has to offer. If you want to, you can help us to feed the sheep, cattle or hens - they may not always be with us depending on the season. We frequently enjoy the most glorious sunsets, lasting for hours in the summer, and if you're lucky, at the right time of year, you can even enjoy a private panoramic shooting-star display or the Aurora Borealis.
It costs £90.00 per night to stay in Benny during high season (1st July - 31st August) and £80.00 at all other times.
No more than TWO people may stay in Benny at any one time and under no circumstances may you cook INSIDE the van.
* Depending on prevailing winds, we may need to park ‘Benny’ in a more sheltered area of the garden or near the shed.
